Selecting When to Upload Workfiles

The Automatic Workfile Upload feature allows you to select when to upload workfiles based upon the workfile status. Select one of the options for workfile upload. The workfile is moved to the Outbox when the workfile status changes to the selected option. Options include inspected, settled, paid, and Do not communicate.

A workfile status of Inspected means that the estimate or supplement has been locked. A workfile status of Settled means a settlement date has been entered in the workfile Settlements tab. A workfile with a Paid status indicates that the amount paid is equal to or greater than the settlement amount. Access this option by through the Settings screen, and then selecting the Communications link.

To select the automatic workfile status change option

  1. Select the Configuration Dashboard, and then select the Settings option from the Configuration panel.
  2. Click Communications from the Configuration panel.
  3. Select the status options from the Communications pane. Your settings are automatically saved.
